It seems that a competitor has come out, as far as the construction of hotels and extravagant buildings is concerned, to Dubai.
The full moon hotel (Full Moon Hotel), is a futuristic project that will be developed in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, one of the former members of the USSR. It is designed to look different depending on the angle from which you look at it. The frontal perspective is the one that most impresses since it will seem that you are looking at the great Death Star from the Star Wars movies. However, seen from the side it seems that what you are looking at is a flat floppy disk.
It seems that 382 rooms they will be really spacious, occupying a total of 104,182 square meters. The hotel will be seated near the water and between two apartment complexes that will be called Palacio del Viento 1 and 2.
It is interesting to see how many hotels and buildings of futuristic design are being built in the east, although the truth is that I am still a bit of the old school and I prefer the converted old Italian houses, whose high ceilings keep centuries of history.
