During the orientation race we did in the Desman trophy, in addition to finding seven points on the mountain with the map, the compass and the legs, we had to photograph snapshots related to the grazing world to get a bonus during the test. The itinerary was made through the Luchon Valley, on the French slope of the Aran Valley, crossing a green ridge of mountains girdled by a thick fog.

Crossing the fog and, riding between two peaks, we suddenly find this goat shepherd. It was the ideal time to take the pictures and get us a few more points in the competition. We had a few teams behind on our heels, so I took the photographs of rigor, I talked to the pastor and tried to convince him to follow his course and, in this way, get the other teams had no chance to make their Photos.

As expected, the man did not understand me and other teams arrived and the poor man was stunned between guys dressed in tights and camel backs hanging from the back, he was surrounded by flashes and cameras as if it were a super star ... Some even tried to grab a goat to take a picture with her. The poor man will surely be wondering what happened on that Saturday in June at more than 2,500 meters high when that legion of energumids pounced on him and his precious goats.

We could only present a photograph and, after a good while deliberating, we opted for the photography of goats. We are half board. I was left with the doubt of knowing if we had obtained more points with the photograph of the goatherd, made when the herd of goats was still neat and looked calm and without the burden of the crazy competitors of the Desman.

And you, which of the two photographs would you have presented?
