As you will have seen in the news the horn of Africa is suffering a terrible drought It affects eleven million people. According to UN estimates, it is the toughest drought in the last 50 years. This has caused an alarming famine state in two regions of Somalia: Bakool and Lower Shabelle.

The data is chilling: 30% of children suffer from malnutrition and six people out of 10,000 die every day from hunger, data that did not occur for about 20 years.

None of the four editors have set foot in southern Africa. It is one of our outstanding traveling tasks. This time, at least part of Viajablog - some humble 100 euros - will travel to this needy part of the world in the form of a bank transfer to help the victims.

You can easily make a donation through the Red Cross through your form.
