The GR11 is one of the Pyrenean paths par excellence crossing the Pyrenees from sea to sea, from Irún to Cap de Creus. In the area of Navarra a couple of years ago the road is almost unmarked and in some sections it was difficult to follow the path. I don't know what situation you are in right now.

Surprising and sad to see signs such as the one in photography in the Irati jungle where we are told that GR 11 is discontinued due to poor signage along its way.

The reason is simple and to pull the hairs to more than one: Those of the Navarra federation expect the Spanish federation to give them the money to paint the GR11 marks and those of the Spanish federation wait for the Navarrese to paint the marks and Then they pass the budget.

The information and photography are from a couple of years ago. I do not know how the subject is at the moment and I have not found new data online. If anyone knows anything it would be appreciated if they could tell us.
