We left Saigon with the intention of escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and we found it in Dalat. City at 1,500 meters high, considered the jewel of the mountains of central Vietnam. Also called Le Petit Paris by the French colonizers, it has a beautiful lake, nestled between high jungle mountains, it even has a miniature Effiel tower! It is the most popular site in the country for honeymoons with beautiful gardens, lakes and a rich land in vegetables. It is also called the city of eternal spring since it hardly rains in the monsoon season although that was not our case ...

The first day we rented a motorcycle for 2 euros and we went to visit Lat, a village of Vietnamese mountain tribes with their very high roofs in case the tigers arrive and their clothes very similar to the Andean style. From the town we walk up to one of the peaks of the Lang Bian mountain that has 5 volcanic peaks of up to 2400 meters, although unfortunately the fog did not let us see the supposed views we had around.
