The set of buildings was designed by Santiago Calatrava and undoubtedly becomes the symbol of progress of fat cows in the economy of the country that we left behind a few years ago. Although I tend to be a bit skeptical about modern contrasts in a city with so much history, I must say that the impression I had when I saw this new area of the city surprised me very pleasantly. Being away from the old town does not mean a post-modern stick and is a delight to the eyes and a pleasure for the body to walk around its facilities.
The area is surrounded by green areas, a beach bar where you can have a drink - in December it was a cold peeling, so we passed the appetizer - and a nice walk that runs through the main buildings: the Palace of the Arts, the Planetary cinema, the Science Museum and the Oceanographic Park.
After the visit, we went to the old town where we ate a menu for 8 euros that put us the batteries to resume the road towards Cuenca.
